about
"Entelodon" is a single that represents and announces Paleowolf's new full length album named "Cenozoic", to be released by Prometheus Studio in 2021. This track will appear on the upcoming album alongside other tracks dedicated to many prehistoric animals, as a continuation to the "Megafauna Rituals".
Once a mighty beast, Entelodon was one of the fiercest pig-like prehistoric mammals. Its largest family member (discovered so far) was Daeodon, whose name roughly translates as "dreadful teeth". Standing up to 2.1m (6.9 ft) tall at the shoulder, this animal roamed the Palaeoamerican continent, displaying the powerful jawbone with a face studded with thick bones. Although mainly a herbivore, Entelodon's fearsome appearance was a sight to behold.
This track is a part of totemic revival of powerful creatures from the era long lost and forgotten. With powerful tribal drums, horns, didgeridoos and native instruments, we are channeling the wilderness of the Prehistoric thundra.
