about

Yellow-reddish morning sun is irradiating the gymnosperm forests of eastern Pangaea, and a new dawn shines upon the planet. A couple of Dimetrodons are basking in the sunlight, capturing the heat through the enormous spinal sail-crests on their back. Aeosuchus, the first lizard, speeds through and out of the cracks in the rock in search for a suitable, warm place. Mating season for Lycaenops, a strange mix of proto-mammal and a reptile, has recently begun, and mating calls are echoing across the dry plains. But their offspring will not last to see another day – great change is dawning on the horizon. Soon, this image will be drowned and lost forever in the disastrous event only a few were honored to remember - the great Extinction.

The world after the cataclysm has changed and had slowly been recovering. The veterans of old are having a hard time to adapt to the new way of life. Still, one small group of beings that survived the Exctinction, the reptiles, found the new world much more suiting their needs. Postosuchus that had been laying on the river bank, rapidly but quietly dived into the river when he saw his prey, a small Coelophysis standing on a piece of floating wood. Further down the river, a big specimen of Saurosuchus, about 8 meters in length, slowly strode across the shore, in search for a mate. Thundering is heard in the distance as the first volcano, in the coming chain of eruptions, spewed black smoke. The land shall soon break apart and another challenge for life on Earth is near.
